Let me start by saying I forgive you for cutting me off on the Wyoming Boulevard, Interstate 25 exit earlier this morning.

The south entrance for the Rawhide Wildlife Habitat Management Area is temporarily closed.

This fall has very much been construction season in Cheyenne. There's a ton of road construction happening in downtown Cheyenne, on almost every road you turn it seems. Today (November 18th), the construction in front of The Lincoln Theatre downtown was being worked.

You've probably noticed there is lots of construction around Cheyenne as of late. If you're frequently downtown, you can't wait until every single lane open on each street once again, especially for those roads minimized to just one lane. However, another spot at a busy intersection has one street closed off at I-180 and 5th in south Cheyenne.

Amid reports that some downtown Casper business owners are frustrated with the construction that has currently closed down part of 2nd street, from David street to Durbin street, the City of Casper has responded to some of the criticism and has tried to put business owners a little bit more at ease.

"I'm the first one to say that the City of Casper has been such an exciting place to start your business in," one business owner said. "I felt welcomed. I felt cared about. But this, in particular, has been extremely detrimental to us, just in the last two days. I can only imagine what a month of this is going to be like."

A piece of Casper's highway history is no more. The first section the Interstate 25 bridge has begun its demolition.

The University of Wyoming's Board of Trustees took a step forward to enact a plan to create new student housing. Trustees last week approved the interior and exterior designs of two new residence halls and a dining facility, which will be located west of 15th Street, near McWhinnie Hall and Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center...

You can tell just by looking, in most cases.

Construction on the new roundabout behind Frontier Mall will get underway tomorrow, the City of Cheyenne announced Wednesday.
