15 Men Died, Remembering Wyoming's Blackwater Fire

Emergency responders are in the area and people are being asked to steer clear to allow them to work on the fire

The Highway Patrol says Isaiah Carson was westbound on Wyoming 387 when his pickup went off the road, rolled through the right-of-way fence, and caught fire.

There are now 320 firefighters battling the Dollar Lake Fire north of Pinedale. The total area at play has grown to 13,449 acres.

The folks of Hot Spring County have made sure to express their thanks for all that firefighters have done and are doing to save their community.

The fire remains 28% contained and is moving north east.

Wyoming's largest fire for the summer of 2025 is the Red Canyon Fire, which has been burning primarily in ranchland and grasslands, releasing massive amounts of smoke into the area.
