DeHaan: "While the price increases could continue into this week, I would expect them to be fairly mild, with the national average likely staying in the $3.50-$3.60 range that we've been stuck in since April for the coming week and likely into next week as well."

The statewide average gas price in Wyoming rose just one cent over the past week, but that was more than enough to put the Wyoming's average gas price to a staggering 40 cents more than the national average gas price.

This past week saw the national average gas price drop a full two cents as 31 states saw their gas prices start to decline. Wyoming was not one of those states as it had one of the biggest increases in average gas price for the week of any state.
