Christmas weekend is just a few days away and with lots of people on the move in terms of travel, gas prices continue a steady drop as we approach the holiday weekend.
We're just over two weeks from Christmas and gas prices, which have been on the slow decline, took a slightly more significant dip this week, and are now just six cents higher than the national average. It was just a few months ago when Wyoming's average gas price was 40 cents higher than the national average. We're on the right track it seems.
Slowly but surely, gas prices have been dipping for Wyoming. The national average also took a slight dip as well. However, the question remains, will gas prices take a big dip now that oil prices are beginning to take a stark drop off?
As Thanksgiving is now just a couple days away, there will be plenty of traveling happening throughout the holiday weekend. So how are gas prices as we approach such hefty traffic on the roads? A little bit better than previously.
The national average gas price is slightly down and Wyoming's has also dropped. Wouldn't you know it, Cheyenne and Laramie are have some of the state's cheapest average gas prices.
