In January of 2022 Governor Mark Gordon petitioned that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service delist the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) grizzly bear population.
Governor Gordon announced Friday that he has ordered the Wyoming State flag to be flown at half staff at the Capitol Building in Cheyenne and in Fremont County to honor former Representative William (Bill) Budd Jr.
One proposal of note the Governor made was to offer property tax relief for Wyoming residents who he believes were most impacted by inflation - seniors and those living with fixed incomes.
Governor Gordon wrote on his Facebook page that "Targeted attacks on LGBTQ people and the increasing visibility of anti-Semitism in our country is both deeply concerning and unamerican."
