A house fire that occurred in Casper on Wednesday has displaced its residents, along with their pets.

The fire could have killed or severely injured even more occupants of the home had not a passerby alerted the family to the blaze and helped get the residents to safety.

Casper Police say a fire that destroyed a mobile home near downtown was arson.

A fire left a mobile home destroyed in Casper on 10th and Poplar early Tuesday afternoon.

Additionally, two dogs were removed from the home, with one dying.

Investigators believe the fire began much earlier because it was burning heavily when firefighters arrived.
