Former president Donald Trump has officially filed the necessary paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to seek presidency again in 2024.

Recently, Representative Liz Cheney appeared on ABC's 'This Week with George Stephanopoulos to discuss her ongoing issues with former president Trump and his claims that the election was stolen.

The results will be sent to Washington and tallied in a Jan. 6 joint session of Congress over which Vice President Mike Pence will preside.

The Board of State Canvassers, which has two Republicans and two Democrats, confirmed the results on a 3-0 vote with one abstention.

There has been no widespread fraud in the 2020 election.

The Associated Press called the race on Saturday morning.

Roughly 200 Trump supporters gathered for a third straight day Friday in front of the elections center in downtown Phoenix.

Driving their calculus is an open acknowledgment that Trump’s better-than-expected showing on Election Day ensures that he will remain the Republican Party’s most powerful voice for years to come even if he loses.
