COVID-19 cases inside the Wyoming Department of Corrections facilities have decreased in the places where there previously were outbreaks but increased at the Wyoming Women's Center in Lusk.
On Thursday, The Wyoming Department of Corrections announced that when convicted murderer Dale Eaton failed to appear for his sentencing hearing in the Seventh District Court, it wasn't their fault.
The Wyoming Department of Corrections, in its weekly COVID-19 reports, showed a spike in cases at the Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton and the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins.
Cases of COVID-19 in Wyoming prisons have continued to see a decline in recent weeks following an outbreak at two facilities in Torrington and Riverton.
