Wyoming Wildfires

Besides the direct impact of the fires, the blazes are causing smoky air in parts of Wyoming.

Wildland firefighting crews throughout the Cowboy State were busy over the weekend as fires began popping up around Wyoming.

Over the past 30 years, a typical wildfire year in Wyoming will produce over 700+ wildfires throughout the cowboy state. Those fires on average consume about 75,000 acres each year.
