In the video above you will hear, from the truckers, why they are driving this convoy to DC.

From coast to coast, West to East across every American interstate, the Freedom Truckers are heading to Washington DC.

For Wyoming that means 2 interstate highways and 2 chances to greet them.

For those on the southern side of the state, the good news is that I-80 will actually be open this week.

The convoy has one stop in Cheyenne, but they will slow down to wave at everyone else.

There are those in Cheyenne who have organized an effort to get the truckers what they need while they are in town.

The campaign was put together by community volunteers and will be handing out non-perishable goods. Volunteers will hand out the items near the Flying J. Truck Stop.

You can still donate. It's not too late. Call Autoskinz and Espi’s Restaurant for more information. Ask for Katie Peters at (307) 275-2434.

For those on I-90, the truckers will stop in Gillette for the night.

You can visit a Facebook page at this link to find out more.

Like in the south the truckers will be arriving on March 3rd. They will utilize Exit 129 turning south to the CAM-PLEX.

Public parking at Cam-Plex is in the east parking lot on the west side of the Heritage Center.

The public is encouraged to use this parking lot rather than CENEX. This should help to not interrupt the flow for our wonderful truckers.

Pokey's BBQ and Powder River Construction will be providing a hot meal for the truckers.

Can't leave without giving you a chance to hear that old hit song CONVOY!
