It appears the tourists (or tourons) refuse to learn.

A man was caught on video petting a bison (that was incorrectly listed as a buffalo), recently at Yellowstone National Park. There were several other tourists in the area that were taking pictures and video footage at a safe distance, but there's always one daredevil in the bunch.

In the short, 53-second clip, which was posted to YouTube by Earl Hughes, clearly shows the man pet the creature once without incident. When he tries the second time, the animal jumps back, obviously agitated, which startles the man. The scene luckily ends without any bloodshed.

Apparently this gentlemen missed the following Yellowstone warning sign when entering the park:
