
What Does Wyoming Smell Like?
States have their own smells.
If I took you to the mountains of North Carolina, you would smell a variety of trees and grasses the likes of which you have never experienced.
The coast of Maine smells far different than the coastal areas of Florida. For that matter, Florida's east coast has a distinct smell compared to its west coast.
Colorado smells like old hippies and bad decisions.
California smells much the same, but let's add the smell of riots and human dung on the streets.

New York smells like a sewer, and San Francisco is a sewer.
Let's not forget the homeless camps in both of those states. They have a smell all their own.
Wyoming, on the other hand...

Wyoming smells like diesel, coal, leather, cheap beer, and open grasslands. We might want to throw in a variety of animal dung.
That's what freedom smells like.
Hard work and determination.
If someone smells like weakness in Wyoming, then they will soon smell like death. Weakness doesn't make it out here.
Is states like Colorado and California, if a person stinks, it's because they have not bathed in a long time for some god awful reason.
In Wyoming, body odor is just a sign of a hard day's work. They will shower once they get home.
There is a lot of fresh air smell in Wyoming because, thankfully, we have hard winds that blow the old stink out. It doesn't linger here.
Our mountains are like those little air fresheners people hang from their rear view mirrors in their cars.
