WATCH: Man Scares Bear Out Of His Car
Why is this guy on top of his vehicle?
He's trying to open the door but doesn't want to keep his arm outstretched, as if something might grab it.
There seems to be an intruder in his car.
Finally, he manages to get... a bear out?
Why the HECK, not to mention HOW the heck, did a bear manage to get into his car?
Actually, bears have learned to open car doors. More about that down below.
Watch the video below, then I have a bunch of WRONG answers as to how this happened.
I'm picking wrong answers because the right one, what really happened is BORING!
The bear jumped into the car looking for food. Wow. That is not exciting at all.
So let's get weird.
THE HITCHHIKING BEAR. OBVIOUSLY, the bear was hitchhiking and this guy was DUMB enough to pick it up. Bears make lousy passengers in cars. Especially ones that you've never met. Honestly, it's worse than picking up a human hitchhiker.
BEAR NEEDED TO POOP! Maybe bears don't poop in the woods. Maybe there are so many tourists in this park that they can't find a place to go where they don't have a bunch of humans trying to take photos of them. So this one found an empty car and thought, 'Nobody will see me in there.'
THE BEAR WANTED TO TRY DRIVING. Honestly, those human vehicles look FUN! This bear watches people driving and thinks, 'I need to try that.' He did jump out from the driver's side, after all.
BEAR'S CAR WAS STOLEN BY A HUMAN. That car actually is owned by the bear and we just witnessed a carjacking by a human.
Do you have any better ideas?
I bet you do.
BEARS HAVE LEARNED TO OPEN CAR DOORS.
It was bad enough when we had that one bear that was "smarter than the average bear." But now we have more bears that are smarter, on average.
You will see this in the videos below.
Visiting Yellowstone? There are signs that warn people to keep the windows rolled up and lock the doors.
Yes, some animals have figured out how to open doors. All they had to do was watch us and mimic it. This should not surprise anyone. We've seen some house pets do the same.
This is not the only time someone has returned to their vehicle to find a bear in it. They are not always looking for food. Sometimes they are looking for shelter.
Here are a few videos that will make you want to keep you car door locked, no matter if you are in it or not. (Always remember to check that back seat before you get in).

WOMAN FIGHTS TO CLOSE DOOR AFTER BEAR OPENS IT.
THIS WILL REALLY FREAK YOU OUT. IT'S NOT A CAR DOOR THIS TIME.
CHECKING THE CAR OUT FOR GOODIES WHILE THE HUMANS ARE AWAY.
I KNOW YOU HAVE SOME LOOSE CHANGE IN THERE.
JUST BECAUSE THE CAR IS PARKED AT HOME DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD NOT LOCK IT.
