Season 2, Episode 9 of Paranormal America is about Fort Laramie, Wyo.

In the 1840s the Fort was used as a place where wagons would stop to load up with supplies as they traveled along the Oregon-California Trail. The fort actually goes back all the way to 1834 when it was called Fort William and it was a trading post. In 1841, the Fort name was changed to Fort John. In 1849, Fort Laramie was established and it was turned into a military post. The fort was a big help for the emigrants who were traveling west.

In 1841, when it was still called Fort John, there was an American Fur company there. One of the worker's daughters rode off on a black horse and never returned. Every seven years, it is said, she appears on the grounds in a long green riding dress and a veiled hat. She can be seen carrying a jeweled whip riding a big black stallion.

The Captain's Quarters (built-in 1870) are another area where suspicious activity happens. Several things occur in the Quarters, doors opening and slamming all the time, sounds of footsteps, and bright lights coming from inside where there is no electricity.

Would you be brave enough to stay here for one night?
