12:36 P.M.
Interstate 80 is now open.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The westbound lanes of Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie remain closed, as crews work to reopen roughly 250 miles of highway between Laramie and Rock Springs.
As of Thursday at 5:30 a.m., the estimated opening time is in five to seven hours.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 a.m. for areas along and south of Interstate 80 from the Summit to Rawlins.
While the snow has largely come to an end, periods of light snow remain possible today, and there is potential for a heavier band of snow to evolve this afternoon near the Colorado border.
