WYDOT’s Goofy Signs Keeps Wyoming Drivers Laughing
To simply tell people, watch out for wildlife, when driving in Wyoming is boring and won't get anyone's attention.
A sense of humor helps.
Thankfully, Wyoming has a few people at the Wyoming Department Of Transportation (WYDOT) that know how to get the public's attention and make them laugh.
Take this recent post.
It was the Jackalope that made me stop and read it.
Got to watch hitting a jackalope.
Those antlers can pop a tire.
The WYDOT website and social media pages like Facebook and Instagram offer Wyoming drivers a lot of information they need..
Why not have fun with it.
Here's one they posted last Halloween.
WYDOT has recently taken to the Urban Dictionary to make sure nobody is saying anything nasty when they request a vanity plate.
Those lit up interstate highway sings that are mostly useless do have a fun message now and then.
Why just type DRIVE SAFE, or BUCKLE UP?
You should already know that.
How about this one?
At least that gets your attention and makes you smile.
Hopefully, that will make you double-check your seat belt.
Let's have a look at a few WYDOT memes.
They love to post those.
Facebook actually flagged the Wydot post below as "False Information."
Honestly, who would take a look at this and think it was real?
At least Facebook has relaxed a little since then so posts like this don't get flagged.
Besides, it's bigfoot.
It must be real.
Stay tuned to WYDOT for more laughs.
