Wyo., Neighboring States to See Rare Friday the 13th Harvest Moon
Wyomingites and their neighbors will be among those who see a rare Friday the 13th Harvest Moon this year.
According to the Farmers' Almanac, the Moon will turn full before midnight this Friday in the Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones.
Those living in the eastern part of the U.S. will have to wait until 12:33 a.m. on Saturday to see the full Moon.
The last time there was a split time zone full Moon on Friday the 13th was on June 13, 2014.
Nationwide, there hasn't been a Friday the 13th full Moon since Oct. 13, 2000, and it won't happen again until Aug. 13, 2049.
