She Moved To Philadelphia, But Misses Wyoming

Philadelphia is the most populous city in Pennsylvania and the birthplace of American democracy, known as the "City of Brotherly Love." It is the 6th most populous city in America, with an estimated population of approximately 1.57 million people.

Those are some big changes.

Some folks in major cities say that they feel sorry for those who live in low-population states like Wyoming. But that just means they don't know much about rural life. Even our crime rates here in Wyoming are at an all-time low compared to cities like Philadelphia. We also have cleaner air.

The cost of living in Wyoming is much lower. A person can earn more money in Philly, but they won't be able to keep it.

Pennsylvania has a flat personal income tax rate of 3.07 percent. Philadelphia has a city income tax known as the Philadelphia City Wage Tax.

Many young people leave states like Wyoming in search of better opportunities. But many of them also return home later in life because they realize what they had when they lived in places like the Cowboy State.
