Wyoming Marked Safe From Tsunami
July 30, 2025: Tsunami warnings in the US are downgraded after a massive quake strikes Russia’s far east.
As far away as the United States, Tsunami warnings had been set up for Hawaii, and the West Coast of the United States, from Alaska all the way down to ---
NEW MEXICO?
HOLD ON!
New Mexico does not have any ocean coastline.
But according to CNN - well - Watch the video below.
This has me worried.
If New Mexico is in danger of massive ocean waves flooding its coastlines, then so is Wyoming.
But after consulting the federal government's own Tsunami warning website, I discovered that Wyoming is nowhere to be found, along with many other inland states.
I'm happy to report that if New Mexico is safe from a Tsunami, then so is Wyoming.
Sure, we here in Wyoming sit atop a super volcano that could blast the Cowboy State into orbit.
But we don't have to worry about tsunamis.
No Tsunamie, no SHARKNADO!
Chalk that up to another reason it's good to live in Wyoming.
No place is perfect, but it's much safer here than most other states.
We might have hurricane-force winds. However, we don't have them at sea level, where those winds are far worse due to the air pressure.
Also, we don't have hurricanes in Wyoming. So mark us safe from those, too.
You still might get attacked by wolves, trampled by bison, eaten by a mountain lion or maybe even abducted by aliens, blown into orbit by a super volcano.
But no tsunamis and no hurricanes.
