7 Stupid Things To Do When You're Bored In Wyoming

If you live in Wyoming and you're bored, there is something wrong with you.

Okay fine, we all get a little bored with where we live now and then.

Also, there are a few towns out there with absolutely nothing going on in them.

Some years ago I was living in Gillette and actually caught myself browsing a grocery store. WOW, that's low.

Recently someone posted on social media a few "fun things" you can do when you are bored in Wyoming.

Have you ever found yourself doing any or all of the following?

ADMIRE ROAD WORK!

There is always lots of that going on in Wyoming. We hate it when it's happening but love the new road when it's done. We all love watching big machines in action.

Hit Suicidal Deer

That's not hard and you don't even have to try. Since eating roadkill in Wyoming is legal, you now have enough meat for the rest of the year, at least.

Go To Walmart

Sure, you can browse. You can also spend your time watching the weir people of Walmart. Just make triple sure you are not one of them. Look for other bored people wandering Walmart like you are. Start a club.

Drive Around For Fun

While you are at it, see if you can spot other people who are also bored and wasting gas for fun. Criticise neighbor's messy, pathetic yards.

One Finger Wave At People

How much action you get out of this depends on which finger you use.

Run Through A Field

This is more exciting if there is a bull in that field. It's more interesting if you run naked through the field. At this point everybody knows you've lost your mind and, if they have lived in Wyoming long enough, they are tempted to join you.
