The Denver Broncos finally stopped the losing streak last week. Now, they look to build on that with a tough test in Dallas against the 6-1 Cowboys, who many are picking as a Super Bowl representative for the NFC this year.

This will be a very emotional game for the franchise and its fans as it will be the first game to be played with Von Miller not on the roster and a part of the team after his trade to the L.A. Rams this past week.

The Cowboys are expected to have their starting quarterback Dak Prescott back after missing last week's primetime win in Minnesota.

Offensively, the Cowboys have some big time weapons from Prescott to "Zeke" Elliott to wide receiver Amari Cooper. Defensively, they're solid as well all across the board led by defensive back Trayvon Diggs, whose son is absolutely adorable. I watched "Hard Knocks" as I do every season - love that show.

See, I told you he was adorable.

Okay now, back to the game. This is one of those "statement weeks" for the Broncos. If they can somehow find a way to put together a full game and pull this thing out, it's something that can launch them into getting back into the playoff picture.

The Broncos and Cowboys have met 13 times and the Broncos hold an 8-5 advantage. They last played in Denver back in 2017 with the Broncos taking a 42-17 win. The last matchup in Dallas was back in 2013 when "The Sheriff" Peyton Manning led them to a 51-48 shootout victory.

Dating back to 1995, the Broncos have won the last six matchups, but with the Cowboys' last win against the Broncos coming in week two of the 1995 season. The Cowboys had a few guys you may have heard of on the field that day: Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin.
