Veteran bull rider Clayton Savage sports a few sprinkles of gray in his facial hair and he's earned every one of them. The Casper, Wyoming native who has qualified for the national finals three times lost 2019 to a badly broken leg but is back in shape physically and mentally. Yoder, WY is now home where Savage and his wife are raising two kids the oldest of whom just started kindergarten. He's off to a good start in the 2020 campaign placing for a $1,200 check at the Grand National in San Francisco and plans on three or four entries in December as well as taking advantage of any opportunity to practice. The Kipp family owns a strong pen of bulls outside of Eaton, CO and Savage was given a chance to strap on a couple Friday afternoon.
