Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr is inviting residents to join her and city staff for a series of city-wide ward meetings titled: Kicking Rocks and Clearing the Path to Progress -- Cheyenne Vision 2020.

The meetings will be held on the following dates:

  • Monday, September 30th | 5:30pm – 7:00pm | AMVETS Post 10 | 3839 E. Lincolnway | (Ward 3)
  • Wednesday, October 16th | 5:30pm – 7:00pm | Cheyenne Regional Airport | 4020 Airport Pkwy W. | (Ward 2)
  • Sunday, November 3rd | 12:00pm – 1:30 pm | Kiwanis Community House | 4603 Lions Park Dr | (Ward 1)
  • Wednesday, November 20th | 5:30pm - 7:00 pm | Cheyenne Public Safety Center | 415 W 18th | No Stone Left Unturned: Community Wide Wrap-up and Findings

“You elected me to fix the streets, put more cops on the streets, fight the blight and increase government transparency plus so much more," said Orr, who wants to hear from the public and continue the conversation.

The meetings will begin with 30 minutes of food and fellowship followed by a 30-minute update on “What’s Happening in Your Ward" and conclude with a Q&A session.  Those unable to attend their ward-specific meeting can join another one.

Orr came under fire in June, after telling people who were complaining about Superday on a Facebook group page designated for Cheyenne-area garage sales to "kick rocks.''
