Not just tourists have to worry about cougar attacks in Wyoming.

It's become a real danger in this state as the population of these females has reached just beyond midlife.

Here are a few tips on how to avoid a cougar attack in this state.

1) It's okay to go out drinking, but don't stay out too late. They are waiting for the young ones who have had too much and can't see straight anymore. They rely on their victims' impaired vision and judgment.

2) If you smell Aqua Net Hairspray, there is probably one close by.

3) Beware if you see Lee Press On Nails. Do not let them get those things into you.

4) If you smell more makeup than woman, she's probably a lot older than she looks.

5) The bigger the purse, the more trouble you're in.

6) She's wearing something that she probably fit into 20 years ago.

If you do wake up in the cougar's lair, try to sneak out without waking her.

But don't look directly at her as she sleeps. It will only lead to nightmares, shame, and regret.

Her makeup leaves her face imprint on her pillow, and you'll never unsee that.

Let's hope you did not give her your real name or phone number.

The population of Wyoming cougars has jumped in the past few years due to the state's aging population and the divorce rate.

Young, inexperienced men are most vulnerable as they are exactly what the cougar is looking for.

The state of Wyoming has considered trapping and tagging cougars.

Not as part of any wildlife study, but so those young men out there can see the tag and steer clear.

Wyoming's Ceepiest Pet Cemetery

The writing on the stones shows that these people loved their pets so much that they wanted to take special care of them when they died.

Yet, approaching this place looks like something out of a Stephen King novel.
