Don’t Put Your Coats Away Yet WYOMING!
That was a nice warm weekend we just had, right through Mother's Day.
We continue with that warm, dry weather for Monday and Tuesday.
But remember, it's Spring in Wyoming.
We are still not done with the cool and the wet.
There is a little bit of a cooldown on Tuesday, followed by another drop in temperatures on Wednesday.
With that drop comes more, much-needed, wet.
Snow in the high country, rain showers down below.
These weather systems will come blowing in, so expect an increase in the wind for a short while.
Expect a slight break in the rain on Friday, but those cooler temperatures remain.
A second low-pressure system pushes through on Saturday and Sunday.
That means another drop in temperature and more rain and snow in the high country.
Keep those raincoats handy.
Keep something close by for a morning chill in the air.
The temperature drop will not be severe, but it will be noticeably nippy in the morning.
The good news is, it's nice and green out there across Wyoming.
This is the time of year that delivers the bulk of the rain that Wyoming needs for the rest of the year. Spring is our wettest season.
Many an surprised to learn that December through February are the dryest times for states like Wyoming.
That slight chance of rain and cooler temperatures will hang around for the first part of next week.
But let's not try to forecast beyond that.
Keep your weather app and your change of clothes handy.
