While looking at a map of Wyoming, I came across a place called DUMBELL.

I needed more information on that. So I Googled it.

This is what Google told me.

There's no town or place called "Dumbell" in Wyoming. The search results indicate that "Dumbell" might be a typo or a misunderstanding.

BUT HOLD ON!

There it is on the map.

Forget Google.

I did some more digging and found...

Here is a story about a couple and a ranch in Dumbell, Wyoming.

Just after high school Jimmie bought his first ranch, the Dumbell Ranch on the Sweetwater River from his uncle, Robert “Bob” Grieve. Jimmie continued buying smaller adjoining ranches to create holdings of many thousands of acres and the Dumbell Ranch became one of the largest ranches in the area. (Wyoming Cowboy Hall Of Fame).

There is even a bed and breakfast located in the area and a large reservoir.

Actually, there are two reservoirs, the Upper and Lower Sunshine Reservoirs.

There is even a river outfitter.

So if you're wondering where the town is, sorry, there is nothing like that out there.

This is pure out in the wilderness of Wyoming.

But it still has a name, and there is no good reason for Google to say that there is no such place as Dumbell.

Some people don't think Wyoming exists.

I wonder, do the people who live out there have to put DUMBELL on their return address?

Wyoming's Ceepiest Pet Cemetery

The writing on the stones shows that these people loved their pets so much that they wanted to take special care of them when they died.

Yet, approaching this place looks like something out of a Stephen King novel.
