This restaurant's last social media post was put up on March 11th of 2022.

The barbecue restaurant that closed down is now an abandoned building.

It is said that the owner died about 4 years ago, and now the building just sits there, empty.

Everything has been left inside from the day it was last closed.

There are even condiments still sitting out, which might be really gross by now.

The video below was created by a gentleman who really misses the old joint.

Today it looks like it could be reopened at any time.

You'll find the old Little Philly Steak Shop at 1121 W Lincolnway, Cheyenne, WY.

It's right across from the Guest Ranch Motel and next to The Eagles Nest Package Liquor shop.

Back in 2021, there was concern from around the community about the struggling restaurant.

Looking at the date of this conversation, one might wonder if their troubles had something to do with how COVID-19 affected small businesses back then.

The last sign posted for customers shows that the restaurant crew was trying to save the joint, right up to the last moment.

Our host in this video thinks that the building was probably built in the 1950s.

That might be right.

At one time, the railroad and the Lincoln Highway were the only routes across the nation.

That made this stretch of road in Cheyenne one of the most important stops in the nation for travelers.

It's why we see so many restaurant buildings and hotels with old neon signs.

It is a shame that the old place closed down in 2022.

But the shop is in such good condition that it could be reopened and restarted at any time.

Almost everything is in place and ready to go.

Wyoming's Ceepiest Pet Cemetery

The writing on the stones shows that these people loved their pets so much that they wanted to take special care of them when they died.

Yet, approaching this place looks like something out of a Stephen King novel.
