TikTok is still for sale.

Wouldn't it be interesting if someone from Wyoming bought it?

According to the New York Post a wealthy Wyoming entrepreneur has made an offer to buy TikTok for nearly $50 billion,

Wyoming knows Reid Rasner as a businessman who recently ran for U.S. Senate against Senator John Barrasso.

He's 40 years old and has founded several firms in the state.

Reid heads up a media company that is trying to negotiate “a controlling stake” in TikTok’s assets, and operations.

Reid Rasner’s lawyer sent the offer to the current Chinese owners of the online platform.

A little backstory about why TikTok USA is for sale is in the video below.

“By establishing TikTok’s operations in Wyoming, Reid will ignite a new era of economic diversification, creating thousands of high-paying jobs that will not only benefit the tech sector but also supercharge Wyoming’s energy, agriculture, and tourism industries,” the letter from Rasner Media counsel Steve Roberts states.

“This initiative will bring high-skilled workers, cutting-edge innovation, and new investment opportunities into the state, strengthening the economy while ensuring Wyoming remains a national leader in multiple sectors.”

The clock is ticking on TikTok after President Trump had pledged to save it with a 75-day reprieve.

Former President Joe Biden mandated the qualified divestment of the app from its Chinese parent company. The worry was that the communist Chinese company might be data mining Americans and American companies for their personal information.

Is their offer enough? That's the first question.

The next question is what controlling interest in the online platform looks like.

This is not the only offer on the table.

Now we wait.

TikTok is currently the most popular video platform in the nation and on the planet.
