Apparently picking your nose is now, not only gross, but dangerous due to Coronavirus.

I'm just going to say right up front, I'm not buying it.

ACCORDING TO A STUDY: You are spreading your own bacteria and viruses when you pick your nose, then touch other things. That probably counts for where you stuck that booger too.

Apparently you will "transfer germs from your fingertips into the nose, which is the exact opposite of what you want," said infectious disease specialist Dr. Paul Pottinger, a professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. (CNN).

Lets face it, everything will kill you these days. Frankly I'm tired of hearing about how every little thing is dangerous and why I'm a bad person if I do it.

When I first found this story my thought was, well, if you're wearing a mask and you put your finger up your nose, you might push your mask way into your nose and...  No that can't be it.

Well then could somebody explain what I'm supposed to do here? I mean there are times when blowing it out isn't working and some manual extraction is necessary.

I'm okay with doing it in private so I don't gross people out. I'm fine with washing my hands and maybe even my face after I'm done.

But for the love of SNOT do NOT tell me I can't pick my nose!

Come to think of it - I know a lot of really healthy people who eat their own buggers. What does that tell you?

This gives me the perfect excuse to leave you with one of my favorite videos, titled EVERYTHING WILL KILL YOU.
