What has stood out to us through six practices?

Well, it appears true freshman wide receiver Chris Durr Jr. is the real deal. Not only did he snag a team-best 12 catches for 121 yards in the annual spring game, he also decided to put on 20-plus pounds this offseason. His name has rolled off the tongue of nearly everyone in the building this offseason.

Dawaiian McNeely isn't quite ready to gallop. Jay Sawvel said he won't insert him into the lineup until he is 100% healthy. He is coming off a torn left ACL that cost him the entire 2023 campaign. With backs like Harrison Waylee, DJ Jones, Sam Scott and Jamari Ferrell in the stable, why rush things? Wyoming's rookie head coach won't.

With Gavin Meyer now suiting up at USC, the defensive tackles room just got a whole lot younger. Aaron Bohl, the Cowboys first-year defensive coordinator, doesn't seem to mind, saying the potential and talent is there, it just hasn't been displayed.
