We're all split on the advantages and disadvantages of technology. Good things and bad things can come from it, but one thing we can't do is stop it.

One of the good ways that technology has impacted the world is by allowing us to hear new music from legends who have passed on from this world.

One of those legends is the one and only Chris LeDoux.

Chris' son Ned LeDoux has kept the family legacy alive and continues in the family music business.

Chris passed away in 2005. Before that, he had sold over 6 million albums, had a Hall of Fame rodeo career, and influenced thousands of people.

One of the people he impacted was Ned. At the time of his dad's passing, Ned, who was 27, was the drummer in his dad's band, Western Underground. Then, a few years later, he began recording and releasing his solo music.

A couple of years ago, Ned did a series called "Songs of Bareback Jack." He went through all of Chris' albums, performed songs, and told stories from his dad. It was awesome to see and hear the performances.

Watching it, we'd all wished the father/ son duo would've had more time to spread the music together.

Lucky for us, thanks to technology, Ned released a new music video and song, "One Hand In The Riggin," just last week. The song and video were a collaboration with his dad.

Yep, Ned and Chris are together vocally and on screen.

According to a social media post from Ned, Chris recorded his part for a duet. That recording had been sitting in a vault, just waiting for the right duet partner.

That partner was Ned.

Check out the video for "One Hand In The Riggin," and download/ stream the song.
