Is Wyoming’s Chancey Williams Headed To Hollywood?
The internet is full of interesting information. Some of it is proven to be true, some of it is proven to be false, and some of it is so far out there that you're not sure what to believe.
When I heard that another country singer could be headed to Hollywood and the movies, I teetered a little on the believe/ not believe line. Luckily, Wyoming's Chancey Williams posted the proof on his social media.
Flint is a movie based on another fantastic Louis L'Amour book that will star Josh Holloway (Yellowstone, Lost) as James Kettleman, also starring Max Martini (Captain Phillips, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi), Forrie J. Smith (Yellowstone), and Bailey Chase (Longmire).
James Kettleman, a ruthless East Coast businessman who, in returning to the unforgiving New Mexico frontier, adopts the name Flint, which belonged to the notorious killer who raised him. As he becomes entangled in a violent range war, his encounters with a strong-willed rancher, Nancy Kennigan, challenge him to reconsider the legacy he wants to leave behind.
I mean, seriously, Chancey was built to be in a movie like this. If you check out the pictures in his post, you ask yourself, "Is that Chancey on a movie set, or is that Chancey on his ranch?"
A natural cowboy in his element.
Chancey has had a hectic summer touring around the country, which included a stop at Cheyenne Frontier Days with Brooks & Dunn, and now getting all bouchie on the set of a movie.
It's not said what role he's playing, or how much he's in the movie, but it's cool either way.
Congrats, Chancey...can I get an autograph?
