Taking advantage of better weather, Week 4 of the 2025 prep softball season in Wyoming is busy. Games are set for all but one day this week. It begins with four make-up doubleheaders. Then the regular schedule starts on Wednesday. Friday and Saturday are the two busiest days of the season to this point. The schedule is subject to change.

MONDAY, APRIL 7

Final Score: #2 Thunder Basin 15 Kelly Walsh 5 (Conference cross-pod game) - the Bolts led 7-0 after the first 2 innings and never trailed. They added 6 runs in the 5th. Terrell and Shawver had 3 hits & 3 RBIs each.

Final Score: Kelly Walsh 18 #2 Thunder Basin 9 - the Trojans pulled away with 12 runs in the 3rd inning. Hoyt had 2 hits & 6 RBIs to lead KW.

Final Score: #3 Campbell County 11 Natrona County 9 (Conference cross-pod game) - the Camels scored 8 runs over the last four innings and held off the Fillies. Thayer and Torres had 2 hits & 2 RBIs for CCHS. Dickenson led NC with 2 HRs and 4 RBIs.

Final Score: #3 Campbell County 12 Natrona County 6 - an 8-run 5th pushed the Camels to the sweep. Gray had 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: #1 Cheyenne East 9 #4 Wheatland 2 (Conference game) - East scored 7 runs in the 3rd and 4th innings to stretch their lead. Olson and Artery had 4 hits & 3 RBIs apiece for the T-Birds.

Final Score: #1 Cheyenne East 19 #4 Wheatland 4 - East scored the first 16 runs of the game and got the road sweep. Millar had a home run & 6 RBIs. Lake added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

TUESDAY, APRIL 8

Final Score: #5 Cheyenne Central 28 Torrington 2 (Conference game) - with an 8-0 lead, Central exploded for 16 runs in the 4th inning. Kammerman had 1 triple, 1 HR & 4 RBIs. Birt had 3 doubles & 8 RBIs. Thomas added 4 hits & 4 RBIs for Central.

Final Score: #5 Cheyenne Central 14 Torrington 6 - Central jumped out 9-2 to get the sweep. Waszkiewicz had 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Thomas smacked a 2-run HR.

Final Score: #4 Wheatland 10 Rock Springs 3 - Mickelsen had 2 hits & 5 more RBIs for the Bulldogs. She hit a grand slam in the 6th inning. Meyer added 4 hits & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Green River 9 Torrington 2 (Conference cross-pod game) - the Wolves scored in all but one inning. Terry had 2 hits & 3 RBIs. She allowed 2 runs on 7 hits over 7 innings in the circle with 9 Ks.

Final Score: Torrington 14 Green River 9 - the Blazers led 9-0 and held off a GR rally. Coulson had 3 hits & 7 RBIs. She homered, as did Skyla Wunder for Torrington.

Final Score: Sheridan 15 Natrona County 7 (Conference cross-pod game) - Lollar had 2 hits & 5 RBIs for the Broncs, and had a HR.

Final Score: Sheridan 15 Natrona County 5 - the Broncs took the lead with a 9-run 3rd inning. Kelley had 2 hits - both HRs - and 4 RBIs. Meyer added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: #1 Cheyenne East 11 Laramie 2 (Conference cross-pod game) - T-Birds took the lead for good with a 4-run 2nd inning after being down 1-0.

Final Score: #1 Cheyenne East 13 Laramie 7 - the T-Birds stayed undefeated, as they jumped to a 10-1 lead. Luethy had 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Millar added 1 hit & 3 RBIs on a double and 2 sac flies.

SATURDAY, APRIL 12

Final Score: #4 Wheatland 6 Green River 3 (Conference cross-pod game) - the Bulldogs scored 3 runs over the last 2 innings to break a 3-3 tie and the road win. Adams had 3 hits & 1 RBI for Wheatland. Mickelsen had the go-ahead solo HR in the 6th. Played only 1 varsity game.

Final Score: Rock Springs 14 Torrington 3 (Conference cross-pod game) - down 3-1, an 8-run fourth inning pushed the Tigers to the victory. Anderson had 3 hits, including 2 HRs, and 5 RBIs. Wester added 2 hits & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Torrington 12 Rock Springs 11 - a 6-run 5th got the Blazers past the Tigers. Coulson had 4 hits (HR) & 3 RBIs, and Burkart added 3 hits & drove in 5 runs.

Final Score: Natrona County 8 Worland 2 (Conference cross-pod game) - a 6-run 7th inning gave the Fillies the win. Hodge had 4 hits, Sale 3 hits & 1 RBI, & Dickinson added 2 RBIs for NC.
