
Fort Collins Teen Mall Shooter to Be Charged as an Adult
Northern Colorado was shocked when two men were fatally shot outside the Foothills Mall in Fort Collins on April 5. The past few weeks, there have been a ton of questions regarding the fatal shooting.
Fort Collins Police Continue Investigation Into April 5 Double Homicide
The investigation is currently ongoing with the Fort Collins Police Department. They are investigating the motive, the suspect, and why the suspect chose to murder a 37 and 27 year old outside the Foothills Mall.

KDVR noted that the shooting could be linked to gang activity. They spoke with residents that believe there should be more anti-gang programs and education in Fort Collins.
The Fort Collins Police Department issued a press release, giving us more insight into the situation.
Fort Collins Resident Faces Four Serious Charges
The juvenile male suspect has been named. Bryan Gallegos, born in 2008, will be charged as an adult. Gallegos is 16 years old.
Gallegos is facing four charges from the Eight Judicial District Attorney's Office including:
- Two counts of murder in the first degree.
- Attempted murder in the first degree.
- Possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
- Unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon.
Two of the charges are felonies, while the other two are misdemeanors.
Gallegos was arrested the morning after the double murder took place.
