Forecasters Watching Possible Winter Storm Next Week In SE Wyoming
Forecasters with the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service say they aren't sure where a strong shortwave weather system will track next week.

The agency posted the following on it's website: A heads up to those traveling for the holiday next week, we are watching a potential system which could impact the area Wednesday into Thursday. A strong shortwave moving into the Rockies could potentially bring snow chances to the forecast area. There is still uncertainty with this system with model discrepancies, so we will continue to monitor and make adjustments to the forecast as needed. Be sure to check back often for updates!

According to a study by Baby Center, nearly every top-10 name from 2023 is holding steady in 2024, with some exceptions. Ellie joins the top 10 girl names for the first time ever, bumping Evelyn down to the 11th spot. Asher made a comeback to top 10 for boy names, while Luca is out. There were also new names that made the top 100 list for the first time: Walker, Bennett, Adriel, Ember, and Oakley. After being in the top 100 girl names for more than 60 years, Sarah is out.
