Next time you are in the Denver Airport, there is an unusual and secret place you might want to check out.

It's supposed to be a secret that is really not a secret.

You just need to know what to whisper to get in and I'm going to tell you what to say.

Back during the days of alcohol prohibition, some bars hid themselves in clever ways.

They were called Speakeasys.

The term "speakeasy" originated during the Prohibition era in the United States (1920-1933), when the sale of alcohol was illegal.

It refers to an establishment that sells alcoholic beverages illegally.

The name arose from the practice of patrons having to "speak easy," or keep their voices down, when inside to avoid attracting attention from law enforcement.

Here is how you find it at Denver International Airport.

It's near gate A38.

You'll see what looks like a small bookstore with a pretty lady standing at the counter.

But what's with the velvet rope out front?

Go up and buy a book if you wish.

OR - whisper to her that you are there for the Speakeasy.

That's the magic word to get in.

The gentleman in the video below will show you how it's done.

She will open a hidden door in the bookshelf, and you will be invited to step into a nice lounge where you can buy drinks and something to eat.

From inside, you'll be able to see people outside waiting at their gate. But they won't be able to see you.

This place opens up at 7 am.

If you see a pilot in there, just make sure that they are either at the end of their shift, or that it is not YOUR pilot.
