Wyoming TV Stations Help Radio With Christmas Giving
Two competing, local Wyoming television stations stopped by Casper, Wyoming's Stuff The Van event this week to help local radio stations spread holiday cheer for needy families, and we wanted to take a moment to thank them.
Stuff the Van is an annual event put on by CHA Cares, Casper Housing Authority’s non-profit organization.
The radio stations of Townsquare Media, along with their on-air personalities, broadcast live from the Stuff The Van booth during the entire week-long event.
“Stuff the Van was started 28 years ago by Donovan Short, who's a local DJ for Townsquare Media. He came here and brought this idea from Alabama, and so for the past 28 years, we've been posted up somewhere in Casper,” Jamie Purcell, the Stuff the Van Coordinator, said.

Stuff the Van is located at the eastside Walmart and will be parked there all week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. if you'd like to stop by and add some items to the van.
CHA Cares will be at the Walmart until Saturday, December 20, and they will start distributing the goods on Monday, December 22.
Stuff the Van is an annual Casper tradition, helping provide Christmas gifts for children and teens in the community. Reporter Abby Uhl got a first look at the efforts to spread holiday cheer, as volunteers work to stuff the van. (Your Wyoming Link).

Programs like this help about 1000 families each year. It can only happen with the support of folks like you and the help of local media outlets that get the word out.
