According to AAA, a record-breaking number of travelers will hit road to travel for the upcoming 4th of July holiday weekend. This year's holiday weekend is considering as being July 1st through July 5th. And if you happen to be on the roads at anytime during then, don't expect to get a price break at the pump.
Last August, 307 Fest took place in Downtown Casper, but this year it's happening at the Ford Wyoming Center and it will be a 2-day event featuring food, fun and, yes, fireworks. Best of all? This year, it's free!
It would be hard to write a script that would be better or more patriotic than this one. A Canadian was out on a lake with his family when he came across an eagle that was drowning. Oh, and it was the 4th of July.
Not only is this the right time of year to embrace the American spirit, sometimes we just need a nice reminder of where we are and what the country we reside in stands for.
