Sixteen police K-9 teams from across Wyoming were sniffing around Cheyenne last week as part of their annual certification through the Wyoming Police Service Dog Association.

Journey Elementary School teacher Rebecca Junge stood in front of an auditorium full of her students and peers to accept the Milken Educator Award, which included an unrestricted $25,000 to do with what she wanted.

This was done during the meeting on January 20.

Wyoming recipients were awarded thousands of dollars in grants.
