As the community rallies around one of its own, the simple act of kindness takes center stage this weekend. It’s about coming together and making a real difference.

We are all just overwhelmed by the kindness they showed and we would love to figure out who they are so we can give them a proper thank you.

It wasn't much. It wasn't a check for $100,000 or the title to a purple corvette. It was a simple card, with a simple mesage: 'Dear Officer, We Need You.'
