It's none of my business, but I am of the opinion that if you want to go vegan you should just stick to eating plants. Don't eat stuff that looks like meat, but isn't. Seems like cheating to me. Just my opinion.

You'll see another opinion in the video below.

At that point I began to wonder, what are they going to fake next? I'm not sure how long this has been around but there is this stuff called 'Fishless Tuna'. It's mostly for vegans. Though I'm sure vegans would like to have us all eating it.

Fishless Tuna is supposed to have the taste and texture of real tuna while, as the vegans say, "preserving the oceans’ natural resources."

According to Good Catch: "It is made of a six legume blend of peas, chickpeas, lentils, soy, fava beans and navy beans and delivers easy-to-digest protein with the exact flakiness of seafood. Farmed algae oil provides delicate seafood flavor and omega-3 fatty acids."

Well, okay. Nothing bad in that. But does it really taste like tuna?

I found several videos on the internet of people trying the stuff. Just like the meatless meat burger and, for that matter, any other food, opinions will vary from person to person. As far as I'm concerned you are free to enjoy whatever you wish. As for me, I want my dead cow burger to be dead cow, and my dead fish sandwich to be dead fish.
