TikTok Users Get Around The Ban
TikTokers woke up Sunday morning to find the app has been officially BLOCKED.
BUT IS THERE A WORKAROUND? Yes - keep reading.
The app has disappeared from Apple and Google app stores.
Users who tried to log in saw a note apologizing and preventing them from going any further.
This happened ahead of a law that took effect Sunday 1/19/25 requiring the shutdown of the platform used by 170 million Americans.
In the days before the ban many TikTokers were recording their own version of a famous line from the movie THE TRUMAN SHOW.
In case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight.
President Biden said he would not enforce the ban.
But his refusal to do so did not come with any action on his part.
President-elect Donald Trump has said he would "most likely" give TikTok a 90-day reprieve from the ban after he takes office on Monday.
That promise by the incoming President was noted when the app was loaded.
Many TikTokers use the app as a way to talk about their state and their businesses.
TikTok has become a great business platform for small businesses looking for creative ways to let people know about who they are and what they do.
Then there are the creative users who just like telling people what their lifestyle is all about
So now we wait.
Will President Trump give a 90-day reprieve in the hopes of a TikTok sale?
BUT HOLD ON!
Is there a way around the block?
It's the internet, so, YES!
There is always a way to work around blocks on the internet.
