There was never any doubt that Trump was going to win Wyoming.

But the state's population has increased over the past couple of years.

The Cowboy state now has 586,485 residents. We are closing in on 600k.

So how much of a win was he going to get?

It was not a smaller win.

It was bigger.

Back in 2020, Trump was 43 percentage points over Biden.

This time Trump beat this Democrat opponent by 46%.

To break it down another way...

Trump 74%
Harris got 25%.

Trump can honestly say that more people voted for him, per capita, in the state of Wyoming than in any other state.

Wyoming had the largest margin in the nation.

But it wasn't just a big win for Trump.

The more conservative than average Wyoming Freedom Caucus won big in the Wyoming House and Senate.

The conservative state of Wyoming is leaning more right than ever before.

If these more conservative members of local government and the Wyoming House are able to do what they have promised, Wyoming can expect smaller government and less spending.

But now the Wyoming House Of Representatives will see more members of the Freedom Caucus than ever before.

The Freedom Caucus secured their spot in the general election to secure a simple majority in the House.

That means the traditional Republican Wyoming Caucus plays second fiddle.

Over in the Senate, the Freedom Caucus retained control of the upper chamber.

The video below is a simple explanation of who The Freedom Caucus is and what they stand for.

When all the counting is done it looks like the Freedom Caucus will have picked up at least six House seats giving them 34 members and allies in the lower chamber.

That adds up to the simple majority in the 62-member House.

But now comes the hard part of getting it done.

Republicans have run the Wyoming House and Senate for many decades.

So what does the Freedom Caucus stand for?

According to their website:

The Wyoming Freedom Caucus is a group of representatives, who currently serve in Wyoming’s legislature. They are dedicated to upholding open, accountable, and limited governments, as well as the Wyoming and United States Constitutions, the rule of law, and legislation that promotes the liberty, safety, and prosperity of all Wyoming and American citizens. The caucus is committed to defending the inalienable rights of all Americans.

Senator Lummus was a founding member of The Freedom Caucus in D.C.

In the video below she explains why she joined and what they stand for.

However, once again, it must be pointed out that a simple majority does not guarantee the achievement of any of their goals.

We now wait to see what happens next.
