Dolly Parton has been talking about this for some time. But now in an update from an interview she did on the “Scott Mills & Chris Stark Show”, Dolly said she was in serious negotiations with the magazine.

In that recent radio interview Dolly says she hopes to pose for Playboy for her 75th birthday in January but noted the shoot would have to be “in good taste.” It would probably be much like the cover she did in 1978 that you can see at this link.

Sorry to disappoint you, as I'm sure so many men were back in 1978 when they bought the magazine with Dolly on the cover and were hoping to see more of her underneath the covers - pun intended.

“Yeah, I just might do it. If I can do it in good taste and we’ll do it along with a really good interview inside,” she said on the “Scott Mills & Chris Stark Show” on Radio 5 Live. “So, yeah, we’ve talked about it.”

Back in March of 2020, Dolly hinted at the Playboy collaboration when asked if she had plans to retire.

“Well, I don’t plan to retire. I just turned 74, [and] I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine,” the legendary singer-songwriter said on “60 Minutes Australia.”
