UW Listening Session On Elimination of Certain Degrees
The University of Wyoming will be having a listening session on Thursday, September 9, at 8 pm in order to receive comments on UW's proposal to eliminate bachelor’s degrees in French, German, and secondary education/languages.
The public is invited to participate via Zoom.
Those degrees are among a number of low-enrollment programs identified for elimination as part of a multifaceted academic restructuring plan for the university.
Under UW Regulation 2-13, which governs program discontinuance, reorganization, consolidation, or reduction, the administration is accepting input on the plan before presenting a final proposal to the UW Board of Trustees.
