CPAC - Conservative Political Action Committee.

This year this conservative convention did not sound so dark and glum.

Not after winning the House, Senate, and Presidency.

Representing Wyoming at this year's C-PAC was Congresswoman Harriet Hageman.

As always, the lawyer who had successfully sued the federal government in front the the U.S. Supreme Court on several occasions was not pulling any punches in her speech.

Watch the Congresswoman's full speech below.

The audience responded well to a woman who does not hold back.

She opened by talking about Wyoming's beautiful countryside,

and not one Liz Cheyeny anywhere to be found.

As a Trump supporter, as was everybody in the room, she spoke about the President rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse that have all known about for decades but nobody would do anything about it. (Paraphrasing).

As she spoke about government waste she reminded the audience that she is chairperson of the "ANTI WOKE CACUSE" in Congress.

That anti-woke caucus would not have had much power just a few months ago. But with a Republican majority in the House and Senate, it can now make some real changes.

As a lawyer, she has taken on and beaten the EPA. Much of her speech revolved around environmental issues.

She spoke of California's wildfire program as being largely man-made.

Her speech was just over 11 minutes long and was read from a teleprompter.

She's known for getting right to the point, so the audience never had to wait to hear why she wanted to talk to them.

Wyoming's Yard Of Nostalgic Oddities

Someone saw the joy that these old roadside statues give people and decided to collect them.

Vintage Wyoming Movie Posters

I love walking down the hallway of a modern movie theater and looking at the old posters of vintage movies.

That got me thinking about old Westerns based on Wyoming. How many of those posters are still around?

Many are, and many are for sale online, if you want to decorate your home, or even home theater, with classic and mostly forgotten movie posters.

Most of these films were made before the era of television. Hollywood was cranking out these things as fast as they could.

The plots, the scrips, the acting, directing, and editing were SO BAD, they were good.
