Myron Cook is a Wyoming-born geologist who has traveled the world plying his trade and solving geological mysteries.

He's now retired and back in Wyoming.

He started a YouTube page a couple of years ago, which has become enormously popular.

Just because he has retired does not mean that he has lost a passion for his work.

He wants to share with all of us what he sees and help us to see it when we are out and about and come across something that makes us scratch our head in wonder.

Watch the entire video about the GREEN EYED MONSTER OF WYOMING, below.

For this video, Myron is in Thermopolis, Wyoming, at the hot springs.

You know the type of deposits those springs have left behind

Not just above ground, but underground.

Many thousands of years of slowly running mineral water have left these deposits, leaving some unusual formations, like THE GREEN EYED MONSTER.

In this video, Myron shows us around the park and where to find this unusual formation, if you want to see it for yourself.

If you start watching his video, you'll start to get a sense of how things work. While you'll probably never be on Myron's level of understanding, he will help you to see and understand the world around you.
