You'll never just drive by Hyattville, Wyoming by accident.

You'll have to want to go there.

From Ten Sleep, Wyoming, drive north on highway 49 until you arrive.

You'll see the west side of the beautiful Bighorn Mountains on your right the entire way.

Despite only having 75 residents, they still maintain a website. Though there isn't much to it.

For a town of only 75, we seem to have a lot going on at almost any time of the year!

The Fire Department's Valentine Dinner, Quilt Retreats, our annual Cowboy Carnival during Memorial Day Weekend, a 4th of July Pony Express ride to Ten Sleep, camping, dirt bike and ATV access to the surrounding area, fishing and hunting, and all the many activities sponsored at Medicine Lodge Archaeological State Park.

You are welcome to come and visit any time!

The nearest gas station is 25 miles South of us in Ten Sleep, and the nearest grocery stores are about 45 miles away, either Basin or Worland.

We're pretty remote, so that means we don't have very thorough cellular network coverage.

The Hyattville Community Center has free Wi-Fi, and you can usually get a little bit of cellular network coverage at the Post Office.

But, there are more services available than meets the eye!  (Hyattville Website).

It is a unique drive that you'll love and remember.

Bring a camera. You'll want to stop and take a lot of pictures along the way.

Their annual Cowboy Carnival during Memorial Day Weekend and other events listed on their website, are full of small-town Wyoming charm.

Cattle & Crawfish, A Wyoming Roundup Story

It's the time of year when Wyoming ranchers get together and help each other with the roundup.

These are family and neighbor affairs.

After the work is done, there is always a gathering and a meal.

This year, it was imported crawfish - boiled.

A Little Wyoming School House Preserved In Time

The little hamlet of Slater Wyoming has preserved on of their last two remaining buildings with all the love they feel for it.

There was once a tiny town on this spot.

Most everything is gone except the schoolhouse and the community building.

I stopped by one Saturday morning and the locals were more than happy to let us in to have a look.
