UPDATE: Wyo Governor Bingo Card For 2026
If you are keeping track of the Wyoming Governor’s race, this is where we stand with declared candidates. We shall see if more jump in after the legislative session. Gray and Rasner are out. They have both declared for the lone US House seat.
Politically speaking, 2026 is a midterm election year here in the United States. But for Wyoming, it is a major election year. We will have to fill a Senator's seat now that Cynthia Lummis is retiring, and since Congresswoman Harriet Hageman wants that seat, we have to consider who will be our next congresswoman.
But most of all, 2026 is the year that Wyoming will have to pick a new governor.
The Facebook parody page Wyo Rino Rocket has our backs on this by putting out a bingo card just before the beginning of the year.
HOLD ON - why is my name on there? I'll get back to that.
Here is how it works:
The race for governor is heating up. Here’s a BINGO card to keep track of those - real or imaginary - if they throw their hats in the corral. First to get a BINGO wins the Golden Sagebrush Trophy. (Wyo Rino Rocket ).
So if one of these people announces, mark your card.
From the looks of this card, NOBODY CAN WIN. But in Wyoming politics, nobody ever wins - so...
I think they should do another card, once all the candidates are in, so you can mark off as they drop out.
While there are a few names here that OBVIOUSLY can't run, either because they are not real, or like Gordon's name, he can't run again.
There are some first names missing, but if you know Wyoming politics, you'll know who those people are.
So why is my name, Glenn Woods, on this card? Because it's FUNNY AS HELL! Anyone who listens to my morning radio show knows that I love to talk about politicians, but I don't want to be one. HELL NO!
Only a few candidates have announced so far.
For Governor:
Eric Barlow (R)
Brent Bien (R)
Joseph Kibler (R)
Megan Degenfelder (R)
Ozzie Knezovich (R)
More will be announced as we start the new year. Have your Wyo Rino Rocket bingo cards ready and watch the news.
