Meet Wyoming's own Jaelin Kauf. Queen of speed in freestyle moguls skiing

This 28-year-old hails from Alta, Wyoming, home.

She has just finished the World Championship as well as the World Cup Series with the most points collected in women’s duals, singles, duals, as well as overall moguls.

That trifecta is a first for the USA.

Add these winds to her 16 World Cup victories, 50 World Cup podiums, a World Championships gold medal, seven U.S. Championship titles, and a 2022 Olympic silver medal.

Off the the Olympics again after this?

Jaelin Charlotte Kauf (born September 26, 1996) is an American freestyle skier who competes internationally.

She competed at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics in women's moguls.

Jaelin competed for the United States at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada, Spain, where she won a bronze medal in dual moguls.

She won a silver at the 2019 World Championships in dual moguls.

Rank No. 1 in the world going in, Kauf qualified for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, where she was among the favorites to medal. However, she finished seventh there and did not make the medal final.

Representing Team USA at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Kauf won the silver medal in Olympic freestyle moguls.

Outside of competing, she is an advocate for women and girls in sports through her involvement with the Women's Sports Foundation.

 

In 2019, she was featured in a Warren Miller film, “Timeless, which fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams to be in one of his films.

Her motto, "Deliver The Love," glued to the back of her helmet and set as a daily reminder on her phone, reminds her to have fun and let her passion and love for the sport be her focus.
